Captain Mike Evatt
Captain Mike is as abundantly diverse in his expertise as the lowcountry ecosystem he calls home. He'll linger over a sunset and can play pictionary in the clouds like no one else. When not on a boat you may find him gliding down waves on his paddleboard as gracefully as the blue crab swims through the water or winning SUP races wearing his favorite grass skirt. Capt. Mike is also on the FB Beach Patrol; if you see him cruising the beach wave!
Captain Phil Frandino
A longtime Low Country resident, Phil has salt water in his blood, spending summers lifeguarding on Nantucket, Cape Cod and Folly Beach. Phil has surfed, scuba dived, swam and sailed the ocean waters. Long time teacher and environmental educator aboard such Tall Ships as the Spirit of S.C., the A.J. Meerwald and the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater’s Mystic Whaler, and former live-aboard sailor and charter captain, Phil has educated thousands of children and adults on our environmental imperative to keep our waters clean. You may be treated to some environmental songs with his guitar as well. Education: The College of Charleston (BA, MPA) and University of Charleston (MAT).
Captain Weatherly Meadors
May we introduce shop manager, master naturalist, marine scientist, and Captain Weatherly Meadors. A jane of all trades with a sweet sense of humor and quick wit will undoubtedly offer one of the most inimitable tours in the Charleston area. A Charleston native, Madam Meadors has a well versed history of the civil and physical landscape matched with a Masters degree of Marine Biology from the College of Charleston and you're sure to have all queries explained in a way your brain cannot help but absorb and savor. When Weatherly isn't on the water she'll be picking guitar strings, taking pictures, stalking birds, and traipsing down seldom wandered roads.
